Jesus is the light of the world, and He called His disciples to be light (John 8:12; Matthew 5:14).  Jesus connected (bridge) with all sorts of people, and He called His followers to do the same (Luke 9:11; Matthew 28:19).  Jesus' presence is life-giving (oasis) to all who come to Him and drink, and believers are called to also be a place of life for others (John 7:37-38).
